Technology Pre-test

 Instructions:

This "test" is not for marks, just to evaluate what your current level of technology is.  You will be given a similar "test" at the end of the year to mark how far you have come.  Just complete as many of the steps as you can without help in a 10 minute period.

1. Dowload the file practice.xls from this location

2. Construct a line graph with date on the x-axis and population on the y-axis on a new sheet

3. Ensure that the axes are labelled (including units) and that the graph has an appropriate title.

4. Extend your x-axis to the year 2000.

5. Add a trendline and predict the population of deer in the year 2000.

6. Add a textbox with your prediction written in it.

7. Change the graph to have no background and add gridlines to the x-axis.

8. Save your work

9. Add your name as the footer.

10. Print your graph and hand it in.
