Activity: We have a board of directors, however, we currently require a Treasurer.
Assistance: Plans for 2006 are to put on a FM/ME Sufferer's Education Day for them, their family members and any caregivers or people of community and to also put on a FM/ME Medical Education Day for the Medical Community.
Studies: Our Society has been recently contacted by the Okangan Clinical Trials in Kelowna, BC and they will have a future Fibromyalgia Study. If you think you'd like to be part of this study, please feel free to let us know.
Other: When we started this society, we did not wish to leave anyone out.
It was a matter of boundaries and thinking about FM/ME realities which made us set it up for the South Okanagan. However, anyone within the BC Interior is totally welcome to join us and if anyone at some time decides to start up their own society for the rest of the Okanagan Valley say, or one of the farther out communities of the BC Interior, our President, Sheryl Ann who is very experienced in doing the non profit paperwork to set up will be happy to assist you.
