You
found us! Welcome to our temporary site. You've probably been
checking around locally to find some kind of support group,
information or advacacy group for CFS or
MCS *and found there wasn't one, right? And you may
even be feeling all alone without knowing another soul who
has these same symptoms you do... and that is understandly
a tough road to go. I know. I was there once just like you.
Know
that you aren't alone. The latest estimates are that as many
as 250 out of 100,000 have CFS. That would mean in an area
the size of Kelowna there would be a bit more than 250 of
us. However these estimates are thought to be very underestimated
by several researchers. As we live in an area where there
are orchards and vineyards, beautiful green lawns and flowers
we know there is an abundance of pesticide and herbicide use
too --- which unfortunately too often leads to the development
of Environmental Illnesses including Multiple Chemical
Sensitivity, Fibromyalgia SYNDROME,
and Chronic Fatigue SYNDROME. (I've emphasized
the word syndrome because it is the one word that distinguishes
these diseases from commonly used terms which have totally
different meanings!) I'm sure that there are more of us in
the area than we'd care to count. So where are you? :)
As
time goes on I will attempt to update this site
and add more links to services and advocates in

For
now.---I'm fairly much homebound and unable to do any in-person
support groups, however what I'm attempting to create here
is a support & advocacy network via online email, chats
& telephone contacts. If you are interested in being a
part of this network or if you'd just like to let me know

column and contact me. Hopefully this will develop into a
very helpful and uplifting group ! :)

OK-cfs,fm is a "Christian flavored group". No spamming,
