About Us
Zadie Bug Creations was born in February of 2004 and is named after my daughter, Zadie, who was born on July 25, 2003. I wanted to get Zadie a cute shirt with hearts on it for her first Valentine's Day, but I couldn't find one that I liked in any stores. After looking everywhere, I painted her a shirt myself. I really liked it (and Zadie looked so cute in it!), and everyone commented about how great it looked, so I started creating other fun designs. I started Zadie Bug Creations by selling to family and friends with only 10 designs, painted on one-piece infant suits and 2 sizes of toddler t-shirts. Now, I have more designs than I can count, and I paint a variety of items (check out our hats and bibs!) and sizes. I sell Zadie Bug Creations at the Farmers' and Crafters' Market in Kelowna, BC as well as at other local events.
