     The Greatest Fan
Site In The Pokéverse!
Yoshi6400: Pokémon
Forest X is a place of the past, and I know that
sometimes things need to be left behind in order to move
on... However, I couldn't leave the place behind... Not
yet... The site was awesome back in its time and I just
couldn't let go without making a proper tribute to it.
ANOTHER MESSAGE
OR TWO... OR THREE... OR MORE...
PFX? I can't believe
i'm saying that it was before my time... but what was
that all about?
-Nick15, Wizards PokéGym (January
2002)
Sniff...so many
memories. I actually still have some of those stat pages
saved on my computer at home. PFX defined who I am on the
web. Who knows where I would be without it? Probably in
the same place, but would I look at other forums, have a
Pikachu on my bed? I doubt it.
-Blazez, Project:
Metronome (January 2002)
I still actually
remember some of that stuff, I'm pretty surprised!
I guess I'm just like lots of other people who posted
there, I started playing Pokemon about the same time I
got the internet, one of my friends sent me a link, and....
here I am today, man that's weird... it was back when I
started high school and now I'm off to college and still
talking to some of the members of page for a game I don't
play hardly ever anymore
-Vulpix the Pyro, Project:
Metronome (January 2002)
Dude! I remember that!
It used to be my favourite Pokémon site until it closed
down in 1999 or something. I used to LOVE the art in that
place. ;_;
-Meo, The Neo
Yoshi Aurorium (January 2002)
Well, let's see. I
started posting at PFX for awhile, mostly on the game
forum. After about a month, I was blessed with color
status, and from there I started to participate more and
more. Eventually, I'd be responding to almost everything.
My first love was always the game forum, and it was there
that I began doing the thing I most liked, and that was
rating teams, and offering suggestions to would be
trainers.

The
main logo for Pikachu Forest, the status of "Pikachu's
Pokémon Page" before the transformation into Pokémon
Forest X. As usual, the image was custom drawn.

JAPANESE
EXPRESSIONS
The second section that dealt with the TV show explained
some Japanese expressions that people living in North
America wouldn't really understand. (unless they were
experienced and have seen Anime before) Some of the
explained expressions were compared to the translated
stuff shown in North America, pointing out major
differences and cut-outs.
150 POKéMON CHART
A Pokémon site has to have something that deals with the
game in detail right? OF COURSE IT DOES! The first
section on PFX's list was the basic info on the first 150
Pokémon. And I quote: "Look, I know what you're
here for. You don't want any trouble. You just want the
darn info, so we won't waste your time. Pokémon are
listed in alphabetical order. Pick your poison."
TRAINER THEORY
If you were looking for some strategy, this was the place
to go. Trainer Theory handed out all the deep
grit that could have ever been scraped out of the game at
that time. This was before "AP Pokémon Info",
before the discovery of "Stat Exp.", before
"Gold/Silver"! Some people gotta admit that Pokémon
Forest X was ahead of its time back in 1999...
ATTACK CHART
Info on those darn skills and TMs! The Pokémon Forest X Attack
Chart contained info on all attacks/skills (whether
it was learned, a Technical Machine, or Hidden Machine)
listing Type, Power, Accuracy, and PP in reference table
format. To make life easier, the attacks/skills were
ordered alphabetically and split between three tables.
ITEMS, ITEMS,
ITEMS!
Well, if there was going to be a Pokémon
list and an attack/skills list... Shouldn't there be an
items list? Yup. Items, Items, Items! is a long
list of all items that can possibly be found in Pokémon
Red/Blue.(In alphabetical order no less!) In addition to
just listing items, the price and description of each
item is also stated.
