     Remember, the mark
of a great site is that it's always under construction!
Yoshi6400: The
second page of the memorial. Getting tired of it yet?
You'd BETTER NOT BE!
MORE TIDBITS
Many
of you are wondering when updates will happen if the main
page is monthly. The cover and MAIN features are updated
every month. Everything else is updated weekly.
Sometimes, I get really antsy and I'll redo the entire
site on a whim. But I know you'll dig it.
-E. Remi Zaragoza, Noble Strife Studio (January
1999)
I
should first point out that we have been approached by
Nintendo, GameFan, IGN, Toys R Us, and Netscape. These
companies have made attempts to seriously commercialize
PFX. I have turned them down at one point or another
because they always had some kind of clause attached and/or
I dislike an aspect of their site (remember, I am a web
designer and must approach it in that respect).

1999)

PFX
Cover Page, February 1999. The whole site layout was
revamped and cleaned up for the second month of Pokémon
Forest X... It was also pointed pink with a Valentines
Day theme chucked in.

POKé-IRC
One ongoing project that continued from the remanants of
Pikachu's Pokémon Page was called Poké-IRC. It
was supposed to be an IRC setup that would allow online
Pokémon Battles in chat. I don't think the project was
finished, but it was one of the first attempts for online
battle ever done. The idea remained dormant long after
this until the Pokémon Battle Simulator was created
during the time of the PokéGym over a year later.
POKé-FORUM
The part that most people can't live without. It's called
a forum. All spiffed up, but with all of the old
qualities (Especially COLOR Status). The
place was cool. People talked about various topics,
conversed long into the night, and of course had a GREAT
TIME. Yeah, those were the days... (So, I didn't post
much and just watched a lot. Things were still awesome!)
AH! MY PIKACHU!
"What is a Pikachu?" That's the question
answered by the section being described here. Ah! My
Pikachu! explained all of the fine (and not-so-fine)
points of the shocking yellow creature that is the mascot
for the whole topic known as Pokémon. In addition to the
interesting comments, this section came with the bonus of
labelled diagrams!
PFX GOODIES
What's a site without some good things to download
anyways? PFX Goodies was the page to go if you
wanted desktop wallpaper, webpage banners, and
screensavers. If you were there and wondering why they
only had wallpaper in 800X600 sizes, you should remember
that the site was created using 800X600 resolution.
EPISODE GUIDE
Pokémon Forest X contained two sections that dealt with
the TV show. One was an Episode Guide. The Episode
Guide held summaries of Pokémon Episodes that were
originally wrote without reference from other pages. To
make the guide more interesting, NobleStrifeStudio added
in screenshots from various episodes to the sides.
Yoshi6400:
You expect me to summarize the entirety of the site with
only two pages? While keeping loading time as low as
possible? You have to be kidding me. PFX is too big to do
that.
