Yoshi6400's Special Abilities (* added to title means Increased Power Usage) (All sword abilities, fighting abilities, and most beam abilities cannot be used in Dragon form unless otherwise stated) --**[Weapons]**-- Illumina Edge - A powerful magic sword passed down through the ages of a clan of Yoshi warriors, The Order of the White Dragon. This sword was always wielded by the current leader of the clan and it was always believed that pieces of the spirit of all of the former leaders who have died would live on within the energy of the sword. (This belief is actually true, but the hidden power has not been unlocked to this day... )When the clan was eliminated by a group of shadow minions known as the Black Eclipse, the leader Brian Yoshike sacrificed his life energy to drive the enemy away and save the clan's home town. Brian ended up being ressurected and he became Yoshi6400, the Yoshi god of Warriors. (Don't ask about the name... I still don't have an explanation for that.) The blade of the Illumina Edge has a curved edge design with a black inset along the middle. Also, it is crafted of the same material that was forged to make the Illumina(Hence the name Illumina Edge). The creation of the blade was an intricate process that included expert smithing(to forge the blade), many binding and locking spells(that give the blade that sharp edge which could never be worn down), security spells(to make sure that none of the enchantments could ever be broken), and the determination of a Yoshi Clan. The hilt is made out of a different unknown metal with a special property, it allows the user to channel magic easily through the hilt directly to the blade. The hilt is composed of a blue core piece, gold bindings that attach the blade, an inset white spike on either end of the blue part, and a black handle. Inscribed on the black is one phrase: "The dreams of the light open the gates to infinity" Neo Illumina Edge - When Yoshi6400 transforms into his Yoshi Seraph form Yoshi6400Infinity, the Illumina Edge reacts to the power and the blade becomes composed of blue energy beams and doubles in length. This turns the Illumina edge into the Neo Illumina Edge, a Holy Beam Sabre. This reaction is close to unlocking the true power of the sword, but it is not the way. Infinity Edge - The unlocked sword. A supercharged gunblade with multi-element capabilities. The hilt is a revolver type with six chambers, each chamber linked to a magical element (Earth, Fire, Wind, Water, Dark, Light). Yoshi6400 can mentally control the revolver to switch to the element needed, but he has to pull the trigger to fire(unless the Infinity edge is in "Death Blossom" mode) --**[Summoning]**-- Summon Knights of the White Dragon - A circle of armor clad Yoshi figures surrounds the opponent and Yoshi6400 joins the circle. These figures are all spirits of warriors from the clan that Yoshi6400 was once in. Each spirit attacks one at a time, disappearing after the hit. Yoshi6400 makes the last strike. Summon Phoenix - Refer to the Phoenix Buster. That is what the summoning spell is used for. Summon Spirits of the Illumina Edge - Refer to first summon, and replace the warriors with the 63 past leaders. --**[Skills/Powerups]**-- Light: Flying - DragonBall Z style, using energy to levitate. Short Range Teleportation - The ability to instantly move to a location within a 500 metre radius. Saint Sabre - Power up sword with Light Magic, white glow surrounds blade of sword or energy of beam sabre changes from sky blue to white. Starlight Sword - Convert sword to Magic-Infused Beam Sabre (Blade turns to energy) AT-Field - A powerful barrier of absolute that boasts massive defencive capabilities. Also known as "Heart's Light Barrier", this protective barrier roots itself from the pure soul or essence of the user. Side effects are unknown. *Psychic Barrier - Magic absorbing barrier formed around Yoshi6400 or targetted person. The barrier is self sustaining as long as it is being hit by magic energy, otherwise the barrier will drain energy from the user. Physical attacks can go straight through with no side effect. *Infinite Factor - Transformation to Yoshi6400's Yoshi Seraph form. Yoshi6400's sword also changes into the Neo Illumina Edge. Time Shift - Yoshi6400Infinity surrounds himself with his AT-Field in order to create a "Pocket of Time"... He is still in sync with the normal time stream, but now he cannot be affected by attacks that rely on changing the stream of time. Dark: Shinigami's Blade - Power up sword with Dark Magic, black haze surrounds blade of sword or energy of beam sabre changes from sky blue to black. Fire: Flame Edge - Power up sword with Fire Magic, red flames surround blade of sword or energy of beam sabre changes from sky blue to red. Rage - Increase power of next attack by 2x, does not work when Spirit is active. Other powerups can be used without using up the attack boost. Spirit - Increase power of next attack by 3x, does not work when Rage is active. Other powerups can be used without using up the attack boost. Ice/Water: Freeze Edge - Power up sword with Ice Magic, blue sparks surround blade of sword or energy of beam sabre changes from sky blue to blue. Wind: Storm Edge - Power up sword with Wind Magic, green swirls surround blade of sword or energy of beam sabre changes from sky blue to green. Earth: Diamond Edge - Power up sword with Earth Magic, floating silver shards surround blade of sword or energy of beam sabre changes from sky blue to grey. Electricity: Jolt Edge - Power up sword with Electric Magic, yellow bolts surround blade of sword or energy of beam sabre changes from sky blue to yellow. Dragon(Skills can be used in any form): Spirit of Shenlong - "Spirit of the Dragon God" a reviving skill that is useful when a friend has fallen in battle. Yoshi-Ryu Edge - Power up sword with Dragon Magic, color changing haze surrounds blade of sword or energy of beam sabre changes from sky blue to rainbowed. *Yoshi-Ryu Element - Transformation to Yoshi6400's Angelic Dragon form. --**[Attacks/Spells]**-- Light: Quickening Slice - Fancy name for a basic Dash n' Slash attack. Solar Flare - At the announcement of the skill, the whole area around the Yoshi6400 will be filled with an extremely bright light. Though this does no damage, the light can temporarely blind opponent to buy time to recover or prepare a stronger spell. Kamehameha Wave - Basic energy beam attack. Charged between palms of hands and fired with hands together aimed at target. Cannot be preformed in Angelic Dragon form. X Strike (One of two people) - One part of a Dual Technique known as X Strike. The technique involves two people attacking the enemy with their swords as they fly past each other and over the enemy. The slashes form an X pattern, hence the name X Strike. *Spirit Bomb - Absorbsion of surrounding spiritual forces to form a Sphere of Energy. Cannot hurt anyone with a pure heart. Normally used as a Desparation Move. Moonbeam Cutter - Attack learned from the Yoshi goddess of the Moon with a slight modification due to lack of magic power. Yoshi6400Infinity(the skill cannot be done in any other form) puts energy into the Neo Immunina Edge until the whole sword is turned into energy, then he has to point the sword at the target and let go. The Neo Illumina Edge ends up spliting into three Crescent Shaped energy blades and the blades go flying at the target at high speeds. After the attack hits/misses, the blades will return to Yoshi6400 and combine back into the form of the Neo Illumina Edge. Heaven's Force - Yoshi6400Infinity absorbs the energy from the light of the sun or stars, forms an energy ball in his palms and fires a sparkling white energy beam at the target. When the beam hits, a large explosion will result. Heaven's Barrage - The battlefield darkens, Yoshi6400Infinity faces the opponent and holds his arms out towards him/her with palms facing forward. Then he calls on the powers of the heavens and sparks of energy appear in the distance. These sparks fly at the opponent from all directions and as they hit the opponent is shocked with surges of energy. *Heaven's Strike - Yoshi6400Infinity holds up the Neo Illumina Edge and a bolt of enregy flies out of the sky and hits the sword, powering it up. The power also enters Yoshi6400Infinity and it increases his strength for the time being... Yoshi6400 can then do up to three strikes with his sword before the energy is used up. (The first two strikes take up 1/4 of the energy, each attack in between takes up some, the last sword strike takes the rest.) Heaven's Rift - Yoshi6400Infinity forms his AT-Field into shield form in front of himself and stabs his sword through it. The stab causes a chain reaction and inverts the AT-Field, temporarely turning the shield into a portal into non-space. Any blast that enters the rift just goes in and no damage is caused to Yoshi6400Infinity and anybody that goes through the rift may be lost forever... **Nova(Only Yoshi6400Infinity can use these): Nova Spiral - Yoshi6400Infinity holds his sword up into the air and absorbs Nova energy from the light of the stars. When enough energy is gathered, he will be surrounded by a blue haze and his sword will be blazing with a white flame. Then Yoshi6400Infinity does a high speed Silouhette-Dash towards the oponent with his sword pointed forward. Once the opponent is in range, Yoshi6400Infinity does an upwards spinning backflip multislash attack with striking flashes of energy realeased every time the opponent is hit. After the attack, the Nova energy that the opponent took in discharges and causes one massive energy blast from within the opponent. Nova Shatter - A single sword strike that has the ability to shatter parts of space-time itself. Yoshi6400Infinity holds his sword out and it is surrounded by white flames. Then his surroundings begin ripple, as if he was not a part if the current reality... Then he dashes forward at extreme speeds towards the enemy, leaving a shadow of unreality and he strikes the opponent with his sword! The hit tears the opponent through realities causing major damage... Dark(Attacks can't be used as Yoshi6400Infinity): Split-Image Slice - Two "Shadow" copies of Yoshi6400 appear. Then Yoshi6400 must make an attack combination on the target(s) before the shadows dissapate. As Yoshi6400 attacks, the shadow copies will follow right behind(one goes first with the other following behind that one), coping move for move. Dark Matter - A powerful dark magic attack originally used by Magus from Chrono Trigger. Because the user(Yoshi6400) is based more on light magic than dark, this spell does RANDOM DAMAGE, causing harm to everything. *Darkness Finale Buster (AKA: PsychoBuster) - Surrounding area is filled with a white haze and a green sphere of energy is formed in front of Yoshi6400. Then a black beam is fired from the sphere at the target... If the attack hits, it does two waves of damage-One for the initial impact and a larger one after the dark energy passes through. The scaled down version of this attack is known as the PsychoBuster. Physical: Punch - What else would this be? Kick - If you don't know what this is, I can gladly give you an example... Mind if you're the one being hit? Throws/Slams - These are obvious. Scissor Kick - A forward flip kick. Scissor Kick Strike - Three consecutive flip kicks, each done with more force than the previous Slash Kick - A high speed forward kick with a dash element. Can knock the opponent back quite a bit. Shattering Punch - A powered up punch that can really send opponents flying or shatter magic barriers. Dragon's Fang - A rapid flurry of strong punches and kicks, quick and efficient. Slide Kick - A forward slide kick that can easily knock opponents down if they are not careful. Stomp - A forward jump, flip, and HARD STOMP from above. Old skool Yoshi style! Akisazame - A rapid fire slashing-stabing flurry, ending with a blade uppercut. Fire: Cascade Flare - Yoshi6400 forms a ball of energy and a bunch of fireballs fly out of the ball and towards random enemy targets. Fireball Volley - Yoshi6400 fires a bunch of blue fireballs (Color depends on character, in Yoshi6400's case it's sky blue) at an target. Inferno - Yoshi6400 releases a circular wave of fire that goes out in all directions. *Destruction Rains from the Heavens - When cast, hundreds of flaming meteors appear and fall from the skies. This attack can also hurt Yoshi6400 and his allies due to it's random nature. *Phoenix Buster - Yoshi6400 creates a fireball and forms it into the shape of a bird(specifically a Phoenix). Then Yoshi6400 releases the Phoenix Flame to attack the enemy on it's own (Magic that can think. Only people who know this magic style are Yoshi6400 and Archmage Nakonara) When the Phoenix Flame starts it's flight, explosions and flames will follow behind it. Even if the Phoenix Flame is eliminated, the flames will keep going trailing the path that the Phoenix Flame would have taken to collide with the target. (Another Multiple Hit attack-The strong explosion when the Phoenix flame hits it's target, and the flames that follow it.) Delta Force (Fire Element) - The fire component of a Triple Technique known as Delta Force. This technique involves getting the enemy within a magical field filled with Fire, Ice, and Electric attack magic. Dragon Punch - A quick flaming Street Fighter esque uppercut punch Shenlong Barrage - A rapid fire flaming punch attack where the flames of each punch form into the shape of a dragon when the punch makes contact. The dragon flames fly through the opponent and dissapate behind him/her. The last punch delivered is a supercharged uppercut where a large spiritual image of a dragon head will appear around the person and fade out during the hit. Ice/Water: Crystal Meteor - Surrounding area darkens... Then a large ball of ice and energy flies out of the sky, over the Yoshi6400 and finally crashing into the target. Wind: Feather Storm - Yoshi6400Infinity plucks a feather from his wing and throws it at the opponent. Suddenly the single feather glows and splits into countless "Feather blades" made of energy and the storm of blades fly towards the opponent. Hurricane Shockwave - Yoshi6400 suddenly slams the ground and blasts of air and blades of wind energy rise up around him and spread out. These will knock the opponent for a loop while Yoshi6400 sits easy in the eye of the storm. Flash Kick - A quick Street Fighter esque flip kick with a bonus. If the opponent is hit, a blast of wind energy will launch them up into the air and set them up for another attack. Earth: Diamond Missile - 6 large spinning crystals come out of the ground around Yosh6400, then the crystals point at the target and fly at it. Dragon(Attacks can only be used in Yoshi6400's Angelic Dragon form unless otherwise stated): *Imperial Wrath - Lines of energy form a "Six Pointed Star in a Circle" pattern behind the Dragon. Then blue energy balls form in each of the 6 points of the star and grow in size. The pattern breaks up, the energy is absorbed into the energy balls, and the energy balls grow even more. Finally, the balls combine infront of the dragon and a massive beam flies out aimed towards the target. If the target moves, the beam changes direction and keeps on going until it hits. *Dragon Blizzard - Can only be done on the ground. Five large crystal spikes arise from the ground around the dragon(spaced evenly around the dragon, as if they were all on the points of a pentagon). Then the spikes shatter and start swirling clockwise around the dragon. Then the circle of flying crystal shards widens and any enemies caught in the swirl will be damaged. Like the spirit bomb, Dragon Blizzard cannot hurt people with pure hearts-the crystals just fly around the person. Dragon's Flame - Fire breath attack. Color and type of blast depends on dragon. (In Yoshi6400's case, the flames are blue and the blast of fire comes out in the constant stream style) **Dragon Star Infinity - The surrounding area darkens and Yoshi6400 is surrounded by a haze of faint blue light. The scene changes to an aerial view where a giant glowing white star symbol can be seen under the dragon... Then the haze around the dragon dissapates and the energy pattern grows brighter and brighter. With a mighty roar, the energy is released and a column of light shoots straight up to the heavens from the star. As the column quickly lowers back down, star-shaped-wave after star-shaped-wave of pure dragon energy fly out from the star pattern, expand, and run across the battleground in all directions. Each wave of energy blasts through everything in its wake, leaving a trail of blue flames. (Stage 1 of the attack) Then Yoshi6400 must get close to the opponent to complete the attack. Once the opponent is in range, a blue star will appear under Yoshi6400 and the column will rise again... This time filling with explosions! (Stage 2 of the attack) Then the opponent is pulled into the star pattern and sucked into a Chaos Dimension. (Final Stage of the attack) (This attack, cannot be done unless Yoshi6400 has a true need for it and a pure, non-dark feeling to fuel the power of the attack.) Golden Dragon Strike - Yoshi6400Infinity teleports above (and slighly in front of) the opponent and twirls his sword around once. A "shing" sound is heard as this happens and the blade turns back into metal. Then he flies diagonal-downward at the opponent and slashes the opponent as he passes, a circular ring-type explosion forming on hit. A gold dragon formed of energy then burns out of the explosion's core (and through the opponent) and flies diagonal-upwards dissapating soon after. Yoshi6400Infinity stops his flight, turns around and his sword ignites once again. --**[Multi Type]**-- Mirage Sear - Light/Fire - Yoshi6400 dashes up to the target and a blue flame ignites around his sword. Then he makes five long slashes in front of the target that leave burning trails, the lines forming a star shape. The flaming shape begins to ripple and a mirror image appears behind the target(effectively locking the target in place). Then Yoshi6400 stabs through the center of the stars and through the target, and a burning flash occurs afterwards. Egg Toss - Yoshi - A glowing sphere of energy forms in Yoshi6400's hand and when it fades away, a large egg with green spots sits in its place. Yoshi6400 can toss the egg at the target or ricochet it off a wall towards the target. The egg causes a large explosion when it makes contact. --**[Infinity Edge]**-- Yoshi Star Infinity - A blue star of energy appears at the tip of the Infinity Edge and the blade of the weapons begins to emit a faint white glow. When the trigger is pulled, a white beam fires out of the barrel of the gunblade and through the star. The blazing beam changes from white to rainbow as it passes through the star and it continues on towards the target. Additional: This attack cannot harm any type of Yoshi. The beam will pass through a Yoshi like a ghost through a wall. Black Star Splitter - A black star appears in front of the tip of the Infinity Edge and begins to spin. When the trigger is pulled, a white beam fires out and transforms into a black one as it passes through the star. The black beam is designed to split powerup/transformation status from the targets, but it cn also be used to remove souls possessing others. Antimatter Shot - A small blast of antimatter. Diamond Shard - When the trigger is pulled, a shard of unstable diamond (Note: In real life, Diamond crystals are actually quite unstable. If heated or charged with enough energy, they can become highly explosive!) charged with magic energy. When the shard hits, it explodes causing concussive and burn damage. Blue Flare - A large, streamlined blast of blue flames. Cyclone Blast - A circular spiral of air (with a bit of white smoke) shoots off an energy buildup on the edge of the blade part. The winds have wuite a bit of knockback power to them, but other than that there's not much damage caused. Tsunami Target - A jet of water shoots out of the gunblade. The stream looks like that of a large water gun, but the strength of the jet matches that of a waterfall. Death Blossom Mode - The Infinity Edge floats in the air and begins spinning around randomly and rapidly. It will then automatically fire at all beings who are not pure of heart(essentially, it targets evil stuff) --**[Transformations]**-- Yoshi6400Infinity (Yoshi Seraph) - Basically Yoshi6400 with two angel wings and angelic cloaks/armor. This transformation was unlocked during a fateful confrontation with Kurayami Yoshi at a place known as Vile Island. Yoshi6400 (Angelic Dragon) - Yoshi6400's ultimate form. A large light green dragon with four white feahtered wings, brown eyes, sharp three-fingered claws, a white belly, and red spines down back of head and neck. Yoshi6400 (White Dragon) - I'll work on the description later.
