Similar to our ancestors we find our poles valuable assets.  And when they are taken care of properly, they can last for years.  We acknowledge that our poles come from the "standing people". The poles that we select and harvest are collect in a traditional manner with minimal impact to Mother Earth.  The majority of our poles are lodge pole pine or Northern spruce

Tipi Poles

$1.00 per liner foot - finished (debarked).  Each tipi regardless of size requires 13 poles.  For example for a 12 foot tipi you would require 20 foot poles, each pole would be $20.00, the complete poles set would be $260.00.   They simple get bigger according to the size of the Tipi.  

We suggest to preserve the life of your poles, that you treat them with oil or stain.

Lacing Pins

Our lacing pins greatly enhance the aesthetics of the tipi.  They are handcrafted and made of cedar; each pin is sold for $3.50.  Example: One 12 foot  tipi would require 10 pins.  The complete pin set would be $35.00.

Pegs

Our pegs are also handcrafted and made of Pin cherry wood, which is an extremely hard and durable wood.  Each peg is sold for $3.00 a piece.  Example: One 12 foot Tipi requires 24 pegs. The complete peg set would be $72.00

Moose Hide

Traditionally tanned moose hide sewn onto the flaps and door ties, which again adds to the beauty and durability of the Tipi.  $50.00 per Tipi

Liners

Our liners are made in panels and come in various sizes, from 3 foot to 8 foot heights, depending on your need and the size of your tipi.   Priced accordingly.  

There is no design or concepts that Wolfchild Tipi staff would refuse to entertain.  Nor is there a set package.  Everything is completed around the customer's need.  Willie can (and Carola can try to) answer any questions or concerns that you have about Tipis and tents.  We are respectful and attentive and honor the tradition of time.  Each Tipi is custom designed.  We guarantee a high quality of craftsmanship along with a dependable, durable product.
