Orpheum

Waiting at the Church

  • McIntyre and Heath two minstrel men, whose record-breaking partnership of 39 years has been the wonder of the stage, have always set the pace  for delineators of negro character. Their faithfulness to type has made it possible for them to feature the same acts, over and over again, season after season. They present, "Waiting at the Church", "The Georgia Minstrels," and "The Man From Montana."
  • "The Wardrobe Woman," a behind the scenes comedy by Edgar Allen Woolfe and starring Zelda Sears and company.
  • Bronson and Baldwin, a "boy-and-girl" team of unusual attractiveness in a turn under the caption, "Pickings From Song and Dance Land."
  • Frank Coombs and Ernest Aldwell, 'two men who can sing'
  • Albertus the First and Jessie Miller, assisted by "Dolly" give an animated and highly varied performance. The man is a juggler, the woman plays the coronet.
  • The Four Rotters, sensational gymnastics from a quartet of sturdy Germans
  • The Edison talking moving pictures third installment

Scandal

The organization composes five well-formed women, historical and picturesque. The frequent wearisome lull that often exists between "poses" in acts of a similar nature has been entirely eliminated by an expert manipulation of lighting effects and the successsive and swift changes effected by the artists themselves.
  • Fred Pisano and Katherine Bingham in 'Up to the Minute Merriment', vocalists and patterers
  • Gus Hibbert and Harold Kennedy in black face comedy
  • Oriental novelty with Emma Francis and her aggragation of Arabian acrobats garbed in resplendant costumes, to say nothing of Miss Francis's spectacular dancing
