Pay The Piper
I have recently taken up the bagpipes so you can pay me to play or pay me to
stop. I really enjoy the pipes but was somehow elected or the only
nomination for president of the girls pipe band. My little activity adds
up to about three evenings a week which includes lessons. Although I am
still learning I can crunch out a tune or two. I hope to be able to pipe a
full repertoire of songs by this time next year.
My
New Car
I bought a new PT cruiser while Brett and Jay went camping in Aug 04. When they
pulled into the driveway they wondered whose car it was. I really like my
car, it handles great and meets my commuting needs. I even let Jay drive
it once but only for a little bit. Bryn and Brett are only allowed to look
at it from a distance.
Welcome to my office. I hope you have enjoyed your
Christmas as much as I have. Once again the great treasure hunt that Jay
created for the kids was a success. Somehow our Christmas
family tradition has incorporated a treasure hunt that one would
think would
occur at Easter. It took the kids a good 3 1/2 hours to
find their gifts and they enjoyed every minute.
Also check see our SCUBA page under Jay. I went to
visit my parents and family three times this year. As the only sibling to
leave Ontario, I had not been back in a number of years. Most of my
relatives live in the London region. This year however, was my parents
50th Anniversary which we celebrated over the Thanksgiving weekend. Some
of the highlights of this occasion are below.

My Sister Pat's classic house where much of the festivities took
place. It is a big old house with the 12' ceilings and it has been
renovated however, as my sister states heating in winter is a monetary
challenge. |

My sister Pat offers some kind words to my parents which starts a trend
where everyone says a few words and offers a humorous jibe to the showcase
couple. |
