    Wylie Jones & Martin Maxwell are “Wylie And The Other Guy”.  This energetic duo has a vast repertoire in many different musical styles. From the soulful feel of “Still got the blues”, to the fun Classics of the 50s & 60s like “Splish Splash”, to “Folsom Prisons” Yee-ha country, their live show incorporates emotion and humor.

                       Wylie has been involved in drama (High school plays, CHWK Players Guild, F.V.U.C. productions, J.B. Academy) and music (church & school choirs, musical theatre, Pub nights, local clubs) all her life. She has honed her musical skills over the years and her performance reflects a combination of genuine emotion and sassy wit.  Her voice joined with a dynamic stage presence makes “Wylie And The Other Guy” a lot of fun to watch as well as hear.

                     Martin was born to make music. Since his teen years in Seattle, Martin has been playing in bands (Rainbow, Gemini, Creighton & Maxwell, The  Rocky Vasalino Show, to name a few) . He started out playing bass, did a stint on drums, moved on to guitar and then one fateful day in 2004 a piano came into his life. Martin taught himself to play keyboards, adding a whole new dynamic to his music. Martin uses his musical skills to create and arrange all the backing tracks the duo uses, defining the sound that is “Wylie And The Other Guy”.
