Nine to Five Lock Up 2004

The Wawa rotary Club's Nine to Five Lick Up to raise funds for the Twin Lakes camp June 6, 2004. Subways Ian Macdonald and Rotary's Harold Soderlund were rounded up by the Michipicoten Police Services. Rotarioan Police Chief Bill Rose, not shown imposed stiff sentences.

Heat Sensor for the Fire Service

The Wawa Rotary Club financially supports community organizations such as the Lady Dunn Health Centre, the Wawa Figure Skating Club, Girl Guides, Scouts, Minor Hockey, Army Cadet Corp, Michipicoten Fire Service, the canadian National Institute for the Blind, the Wawa Food Bank and other special needs.

Recently $15,000 was provided to purchase a Heat Sensor for the Fire Service. This instrument can identify human bodies though heavy smoke and has many uses in the fire service.
