This set of plans and instructions covers a range of wheel sizes from 24” to 96”, as well as several ways to customize your waterwheel. Choose any one of the seven sizes to suit your site and location. I'll just mention that 48” has been, by far, the most popular size. For small yards 36” is good. More and more lately, 60” and 72” are being ordered. It’s your call. To help you decide, I suggest that you cut a circle from cardboard or old plywood, then move it around your yard to see what size looks best and where you get the best view. Some times a slight change of the angle makes a big difference

Each set of plans includes two 24” X 36” blueprints with:                                

-  Full-size patterns of spokes, rims, and hubs
-  Radius gauge for accurate layout
-  Suggestions of how to build the support for the wheel
-  Plan and list of parts for water flow control piping and sluice box
-  Complete step-by-step instructions to guide you through the process
