FUNDRAISING
Victoria Riding for the Disabled is a non-profit organization. We do not receive any ongoing government funding. Rider fees cover approximately 1/4 of our operating costs, the balance is raised through fundraising efforts such as special events, memberships and sponsorships.

Our facilities at 6917 Veyaness Road, Central Saanich, are available for rental to groups on a regular or one time basis throughout the year. It is suitable for horse/rider training, agility dog programs or other purposes you may have. Rental inquiries can be made by phone: (778) 426-0506 or by email: vrda(at)shaw.ca .Indoor Arena:
Our spacious 20 X 60m indoor arena is well lit with halogen lights. The footing is sand and is maintained at least once/week. There is an equipment and viewing area at the end of the ring that reduces the ring to about 50m long, but can be removed if 60m is required.Clubhouse:
The heated clubhouse provides a small meeting room, washroom and kitchen area. From the clubhouse participants can see into the indoor ring.Outdoor ring:
The large outdoor ring is also Sand with board and bayco surround fencing.Track:
A short perimeter trail is available to walk horses for cool out/warm up.View the facility description and rental procedures.

How you can help (Tell your family & friends)
Bring your Island Farms Bar Codes, Canadian Tire Bucks & Used Stamps to the Barn. We turn them in for money! We get 3 cents per Island Farms code.Recycling
Take your bottles, cans etc to the bottle depot on Quadra or Burnside and ask them to credit VRDA. You may also bring them to the barn a put them into our recycle boxes located to the left of the barn door.Phone Books: We collect books all year!
We collect phone books. You can bring them to the barn. We will also do pick ups for larger numbers, so if the business where you work would like to donate them to us, please email us at: vrda(at)shaw.ca or call Bert to arrange for a pick up. (250-360-3030 or 250-744-5074)Co-op Gas and Food Center:
