Lunar

Like the moon,
your surface isn't perfect.

Sometimes
you are cold;
the light only shines on one side
and reveals so much in that moment,

but then you step into
the darkness again,
your shield.

The dark side of the moon.

Like the yin yang,
the moon holds perfect balance.

White meets black,
dark meets light.

But the light can not shine on all sides;
it has been deemed impossible.

But,
we can overcome it.

It is all I can hope for.
