DestructSHUN!
Here in good 'ol B.C., there were a series of
violent storms in late 2006.
One particular storm made thousands of trees fall down in Stanley Park.
We decided to head on over and see the damage for ourselves. Yikes...

Before leaving, we had to take some lame pictures.

Ha, this one cracks me up for three reasons:
1) Kurtis looks normal, but he is in fact...
2) Flipping the bird (while making it look like I'm doing it).
3) My face cracks me up and disgusts me at the same time. YES!

The effed up weather caused the air supported dome of BC Place Stadium
to deflate. Can you even spot the damn building? Oh dear.

I swear it wasn't always blue...

Once again, Colby fails to take a candid photo of me.

Who wants a gigantic fuschia present?

Clear building, blurry building.

Big ass fishing boat at the floating gas station.

A small taste of the destruction we'd see ahead.

Aaaaand murdered trees. *Cries*

Kurtis and I are sad. Actually, Kurtis is making a dumb
face, but I know he's crying inside.

Most of the trees snapped from the harsh ass winds.

You never used to see that view.

Dad's either really emotional or Colby took a candid of him.

That tree looked like it could fall at any moment.

This tree had been around for a couple of decades.

"Yay, I'm counting the rings. I love nature!"

Is that supposed to be a sad face?
You need to work on it.

There were a lot of cars driving around the park that day.

The picnic area was obliterated.

Some more of that view that was unseen before.

A man was carving stuff. Too bad you can't see it.

Anyone involved in the forestry industry was busy.

On the way home, we drove by English Bay.
There were downed trees there, too. Yeek.

Ah, the beach. At least that didn't blow away.

Haha, still can't get a candid of me!

We drove through Yaletown, aka: Yuppieville.

So many cranes, so little time.

And, look, it's Pepper. Once again, she desperately tried
to fit in a box that was too small for her body. Weirdo.
