October + Geocaching = Cache-Tober!
We did a metric ton of caching in October 2010. Here are a few places we hit.

Pete and I hit up Blackie Spit at Crescent Beach. Free parking!

Did a multi-cache in this area.

Trying to find Spongebob's Home.

Even my shadow doesn't know where Spongebob is.

He's literally got the whole world in his hands!

That's not what you do with it!!

A few days later, Team Awesome reunited!
Quick, update your Facebook status via iPhone!

Pete signs the log to a cache that had previously
alluded myself and McConnell.

Team Awesome Cheesy High Five!

Well camo'd cache in "The Fernery."

I was hoping to photo-document one of them bailing out.

At a location for a cache appropriately titled "The Power of One."

We dedicated a day for caching in and around Burnaby Lake!
After being rained out, Team Awesome continued our 50 cache
adventure--and continued our search for an elusive cryptex.

At this point, we were relieved to see the sun.

We're getting closer to the Gold Star FINAL (aka: The Cryptex!).

And here it is! A thing of beauty!

The coolest cache container EVER.

And hold up umbrellas! Darn rain..

You don't know where that cryptex has been! Ah, who cares.

The grand opening was kind of anti-climactic. That's all that's in there??

Did a few more caches to make it an even 50.
Came across this--how random.

Here we are after 50 caches. Huzzah!

Victory zoo sticks/sweet potato fries at White Spot! And well-deserved.
