This package has not been updated in a long while. I have moved from a dedicated Linux box for my router needs to a Linksys cable router. It does everthing that I need (and more) and I don't even run gShield.
So, I am declaring that this software will receive no futhur updates. This page and the sources will stay up for those who are interested.
I want to thank everyone who has ever downloaded and tried my little contribution to the world. I have enjoyed speaking with everyone who has ever contacted me about gShieldConf. You make it all very worthwhile.

I know it's been a long while waiting for this but
here is a preliminary copy of controls.xml
for gShield 2.8 The reason it's preliminary is that it needs testing so I would
appreciate some feedback on it, suggested improvments, bugs, etc. It still needs
a beautifying pass....
Just copy over the existing controls.xml file (usually in /usr/share/gshieldconf/ or /usr/local/share/gshieldconf/). Enjoy!!
What is it?
gShieldConf is a small program to edit the configuration files for gShield, an aggressive, modular, ipchains-based firewall script. More information on gShield can be found at the gShield home page
gShieldConf is written using the gtk toolkit and is released under the terms and conditions of the GNU GPL.
