Here is the Bramucci family tree up to date as of June 06, 2000. The main "root" for this tree is Vasto Bramucci (ref# 102) born in 1894 and his wife Rosaria D'Ambrosio born in 1898. However information is also available for one more generation earlier than that. The tree from Unknown Bramucci ancestor (ref# 268) yields a pretty impressive family tree which spans 6 generations. I intend to develop this part of the tree as information becomes available.

Best of all, there is a GEDCOM database of information which you can download and update using a professionally written program called "Brother's Keeper", or any other geneology software designed to support GEDCOM 4.0 or higher files. I highly recommend Brother's Keeper because it is very easy to use and produces a rich variety of reports and "trees". It also permits you to take this "tree" we have created and let you add more people from your family and create a tree more appropriate to you. If you do add to the tree please advise us of updates so that we may incorporate them.

Brother's Keeper is a great program and is available free as shareware for evaluation purposes. Please read and comply with the licencing agreement.

Here are instructions to get a working copy of this genealogy database of the Verdone tree. You may wish to print this page and follow the instructions from paper while you do the set up.

• First access the Brother's Keeper web site and download BKSETUP.EXE from this site:

• Download the "Bramucci tree" database by right-clicking and saving the following link (Bramucci GEDCOM file).

• Run the BKSETUP.EXE file you have downloaded to set up the program (it only takes about 3 megs of drive space and is easy to set up).

• Start up the Brother's Keeper program and use the FILE/GEDCOM/IMPORT function to load the Bramucci family tree you downloaded from us.

• Enjoy the program and try all the functions and reports. Start with the TREE chart and select Vasto Bramucci as a starting point and navigate from there. When asked for a selection number, it is number 102.
