Levels
of Staff
Wizard:
The wizard is the owner of UL and will make a final decision
when one cannot be reached by other staff members. The wizard
has the same responsibilities as an Assistant as listed below.
Assistant:
Assistants are responsible for reading and approving bios.
They must answer posts made within the Visitors’ Centre
and Garrison, and any other post where a member is seeking
help. Assistants are not obligated to enter into complex storylines
with other members, but must give them IC help to get them
started in a storyline or lead them in the right direction.
Assistants should be prepared to give advice when requested
and offer ideas to help expand and improve UL. For further

Junior
Assistant: Junior Assistants have the same responsibilities
as Editor/Chat Mods, but also can approve bios, answer Visitors
Centre posts and set privileges.
Editor/Chat
Mod: Staff members at this level are expected to
read all posts to ensure that they do not contain material
that is not in accord with the rules set out in the website.
They have the authority to edit or close threads if they feel
it is necessary. Editors are also expected to delete posts
containing spam and unsolicited material unless previously
permitted by the Wizard or Assistants. See below for outline
as Chat Mod.
Chat
Mod: Chat Moderators (when in chat) are responsible
for the comfort of other members present in chat. They have
the authority to kick and/or ban members who become unruly
or troll UL chat rooms. When an IC chat is relevant to current
UL storylines, Chat Mods should log chats (/logon) and post
them in the appropriate folder for other members to read.
They should also log chats if a member is behaving in an unruly
manner.
