Your
First Post
Once
your character is approved, your first post should be made
either in the Visitors Centre if coming by land or the Harbour
Gates if coming by sea. This will be your first interaction
with various characters in the Unknown Lands. First impressions
are quite telling so take your time and have fun. The only
exception is if the character is a native and has no reason
to enter the Visitors Center like a merchant or tavern keeper.
If
this is your first time writing in The Unknown Lands, your
character must go through either
the Visitors Centre or the Harbour Gates.
If
you are uncertain how to proceed, look at some of the previous
posts in the Visitors Centre/Harbour Gates folder. This will
give you an idea of the various and unique way of first introducing
your character to The Unknown Lands.
If
your character tells the clerk of his skill and needs (buying
a home, starting a business, enlisting, etc.), the clerk will
point them in the right direction by telling them where to
go or who to speak to. The clerks are there to help your characters,
so feel free to visit at any time if you need a push in the
right direction.
