Maps of the Lands

The great forests of the Unknown Lands are in Monadh-Frith and Telford. These forests are dense and difficult to travel. It is said they are cursed, for many who go in are never seen again.

This terrain depicts various types of land. This includes grasses, hills, lighters forests, swamplands, and rocky terrain. These types of terrain are not significant and easy to travel over. Writers are welcome to decide for themselves what type of land they are crossing so long as it is not one of the more significant land-types (great forests, water bodies, deserts, and mountains).

The mountain range that lines the west of the Unknown Lands is high and perilous to cross. People coming from the lands beyond may enter through Monadh-Frith or Telford, though the Frithi are wary of intruders and have been known to kill those who are deemed enemies. To cross through any other way is not only perilous to those who are experienced, but deadly to those who are not. It is rumoured that there are tribes who inhabit the mountains and feed on those they capture.

The plains of Nuall are flat and vast. Nomadic tribes can be found throughout and are always more than happy to barter for goods. Great herds of cattle, bison and horses can be seen, but be careful. During the summer years, water is scarce, and the Nuae known to charge a great price for even the smallest skin.

The waters off of the Unknown Lands are deep and foreboding. During the spring and autumn, the waters become fierce and crossing treacherous. Rumours of sea serpents dwelling in the Cerulean Sea are often told by sailors, and even some fisher folk claim to have seen them closer inland when the fishing was good and food abundant. Further east beyond the passes, few dare to sail, for raiders from far off lands are always making war with the islands.
