Physical Attributes: Telfordines are pale and their women known for their extreme beauty. Though they appear frail, they are strong and hardy.

Eye Colour: Pale blue, green or hazel.

Hair Colour: Most Telfordines are blonde, though in rare occurrences, there are some with darker hair.

Special Abilities: Telfordines greatest ability is manipulating stone. They can make it as soft as clay and mould it however they wish. They can also sent their conscious mind through veins of stone to find the precious ore that their lands thrive on. These powers are especially strong in women and those of royal lineage. They are also strong in earth magic, but are vulnerable to the other elements.

Telford is the wealthiest of the five houses, for iron is the true commodity of the lands. Their men are strong and heavily built, while their women are said to be delicate and frail, though extremely hardy. They are fair-haired and blue-eyed despite the difficult climate, and have pale complexions due to living within their mountain homes.

It is said that they have built cities that extend far into the mountains to escape the frigid climate, though no outsider has been permitted to see these cities. There are a few steddings built beyond, and they can be found at the base of the mountains with smaller way-stations set along the mountain paths to aid travellers in their journey. Guides are provided, for the mountain paths are harsh and difficult with snow and wind that can quickly disorientate a traveller from his path.

Though it is common to see the men, the woman are kept out of sight and protected fiercely. Their beauty is said to be second to none, though rarely are they seen and even then their faces are concealed. Most women never see the light of day, for they are kept inside the cavernous cities.
