Tanek

Tanek is an island of higher education and advancement for people from all walks of life. Vast universities and places for higher learning can be found here from philosophy to cartography. Druids make their home throughout, but can be found in greater numbers in the Whispering Wood.

The two largest cities are Kenmere and Backwood. The rest of the island has scattered villages and small towns where many students live as they see to their studies. Many have also been hired by the royal families of Telford, Solange, Nuall, Dalton and Cordaire in many capacities from advisors to champions.

To the north of the island of Tanek is the Cerulean Sea. There lay huge jagged boulders from the sea itself. Legend has it that Cor raised these for protection from those that would attack the island. Often enemies would sink well before reaching Tanek. There are stories of ships filled with treasures and gold that have yet to be claimed.

The coastline is protected by five Watchtowers. The Watchtowers were built two hundred years earlier to protect the mainland from raiders. These are always guarded and reports are taken daily of those entering and departing.
