Solange – House Athol
 

Physical Attributes: Solnese are of average build or smaller, and are not known for their strength. They are lithe and can fit into small spaces.

Eye Colour: Solnese have multi-coloured eyes that are jewel-like in appearance.

Hair Colour: Black, but dark brown in rare cases.

Special Abilities: The Solnese jewel eyes make it possible for them to see perfectly in absolute darkness. They can communicate with gems, and have found many have magical properties that only they can exploit (seeing stones and seeking stones). When they sing in a certain pitch, gems sing back to them, making it possible for them to mine successfully. Their voices can also be used to debilitate those standing nearby. This does not effect other Solnese.

Gold and gems are the livelihood of the Solnese people. They love all things that glitter and have been known to hoard their wealth. It is said they are able to see in the dark and speak to the gems themselves. To offset the dreary life they live in the mountains, they dress in bright, merry colours. Solnese enjoy celebrations and have a holiday for every event. They can drink most people under the table with little effort. They are of average build with black hair and jewel-like eyes. Like Telfordines, they are extremely pale as they rarely dwell outside their mountain home.

Unlike Telford, the climate isn't as harsh and unforgiving, and the Solnese have many cities built beyond the mountains.
