Monadh-Frith
– House Losce
Physical
Attributes: Frithi are considered freakish in appearance,
for they are small and lack pigmentation. They are small and
willowy, usually standing less than five feet. They have long
fingers and toes that allow them to move through the trees
with ease.
Eye
Colour: Pale blue or grey, and in rare cases some
have been known to have red eyes and even pure white eyes.
Hair
Colour: All Frithi have white hair, but it tends
to yellow with age.
Special
Abilities: Frithi have a strong affinity with all
forms of plant life. They are able to communicate with anything
that grows and even manipulate it. They can use their own
energy to cause plants to grow in a matter of moments.

The
Frithi provide lumber for all of Cordaire, especially to Telford
and Solange whose harsh environment allows for little growth.
They are a small people, not reaching past five feet in height.
They are willowy and thin with fine hair and light coloured
eyes. They have built entire cities within the trees’
canopy using a series of ropes walkways to join them together.
The
Frithi are rarely seen out of their lands and indeed are rarely
seen even in their lands, often remaining within the treetops
and shunning strangers. They have been called cowardly in
battle for they prefer to attack and flee instead of making
direct attacks. They use mainly bows and slings. It is rumoured
that they possess strong earth magic and are able to communicate
with the trees.
The
Frithi are strange creatures that prefer to be outdoors. They
are naturally shy, but once befriended can be quite cheerful
and charming. The Frithi care little for politics, and concern
themselves only with tending the great forest of Monadh-Frith.
Strangers
who enter Monadh-Frith without invitation are often never
seen from again. The forest is ever changing and will swallow
intruders, leaving them to wander until they die. If the forest
is attacked, it becomes near impenetrable, and cannot be destroyed.
Established
by Ardal Losce, House Losce holds the seat of power for Monadh-Frith
and has strong ties with House Athol.
