The
many faces of Laurie Anderson surfaced through a
medley of portrayals. I remembered the sketch
"What you mean we?" from a video
competition a decade ago. Laurie plays a dual
role, herself as well as alter-ego clone.
Through a series of short
vignettes, music, and running commentary, Laurie
presented her observations of culture and
technology. The manner in which Laurie linked
concepts of imagination with dialogue interwoven
with familiar performances was on target.
