A PIONEER CHRISTMAS

Warm your Heart

~ A Benefit Concert ~

VoiceScapes and Vancouver's Kallisto Trio present an enchanting evening about Christmas for early prairie settlers in song and word. Carols old and new are interwoven into the heartwarming story: The Christmas Miracle of Jonathan Toomey by Susan Wojchiechowski. See and hear how a woodcarver's life is changed by a request to carve the figures for a Christmas creche.

Proceeds from this concert benefit the Knox Presbyterian Ministries.

Introducing KALLISTO:
Described by audiences as 'remarkable' and 'angelic', KALLISTO draws inspiration from every ear of music history. This women's trio brings music from the Renaissance, Baroque and Romantic periods to life and then shifts effortlessly to jazz standards, world music and gospel.
Highly regarded professionals and musicians in their own right, Fabiana, Karen and Catherine combine their knowledge, talent and skills to give their performances a depth and breadth witnessed in few ensembles. The trio spice up their performances with a variety of instruments, which they play with equal flair. On stage their personalities play off one another perfectly - captivating and entertaining - while their flawlessly-tuned voices seem to effortlessly blend into one.
KALLISTO--most beautiful!
