Maine Two Footers On2 FAQ     Last Update 2005-10-25

This FAQ will attempt to answer most questions new members may have about modeling in On2.  Standard disclaimer about information. It is more then a FAQ.  Some information will address some common misconceptions, or update previous published information that has been determined to be in error. Information will be incorporated as it is provided.  In many respects this will be used to alleviate the problems of attempting to search past postings at the Yahoo site for previous request for information.  My thanks to the MaineTwoFooters, MaineOn2, HOn30, and 7-8InchScaleTrains Yahoo groups where I have obtained much of the information from posts to those sites.  Thank you to Walter Orloff,  Terry Smith, Robert Werner, John Hitzeman, Trevor Marshall, Keith L. Lewis-Jones  for their contributions.

In case you have taken a link from another site, and did not know of the Yahoo MaineOn2 group, you can join us at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MaineOn2/join

Since this group's interested is mainly in the Maine twofooters, it may not address the requirements for modelers who have interests outside of Maine.  My apologies.  There is now a Yahoo group to discuss Colonial and Latin America narrow gauge railways called CLASIG that can provide information you are looking for.  If you should happen to model in On30, you can join their group, visit their FAQ or visit the slimrails companion site with additional information, files and photos.

If you can add information, or address errors in information please contact the MaineOn2 group at Yahoo.  Please start the "SUBJECT" with "MaineOn2FAQ: "subject matter".
