Ok, it's official! I am far to weak to continue Demonic Soul at this time. I am working on a professional graphic novel at the moment (which really only means I'll get paid for it) and I keep looking at the pages I have and parodying subtitles pop into my head. I started out amateur and dug myself into a hole I can't climb out of unless I do it all over. Which, right now, i don't have the patience for.

My apologies! I shall return at a much later date, perhaps July, 07.

Wow! It's been WAY too long since I updated. I sadly only have 3 pages finished, but I finally have the new website design up and running, although not all the pages are complete (I will be changing all the comic pages' colour over time).
I suppose I should explain my absence a little bit: I have been working at my regular job, and I recently got a contract to complete a graphic novel (not one of my stories I'm afraid, but one of the talented Lynda Williams') AND I've been redoing Demonic Soul, creating other websites for people & living the rest of my life. Less then some people, more then some. In any case, it's been somewhat exhausting for me. However, I have a new server for Demonic Soul which will cut my uploading in half, (before, it was exhausting just thinking about uploading!) so I will be updating again!
BTW, tell me what you think of the new design by signing the guestbook or leave a comment on the chatbox on the 'New page!'

"Hey, there's something different about you... did you do something to your hair?" Ah yes, the new improved hairstyle for poor, sad Sakiro. Heh, my sister said his old hair looked like a rooster's comb and frankly, I agree. :P So chop chop! Problem solved.

This time, I created the comic page without inking the picture. The main reason is I stink at inking and lose some of the nicest pencil lines when I do ink. Plus, I figured it'd be less work. Turns out I was wrong. My scanner sucks and I spent about double the time I normally do just fixing the damage it did to the image. So I'm still gonna ink. However, I am going to stop using screentone (at least as much), which will shorten the work and if you ask me, look much better. I really like the expressions in this one... I was a little iffy about making Kai "chibi-ish" twice on the same page, but I think it works. BTW, for anyone who wanted to know, the kantaka in panel #7 means 'pain,' or as near I could figure.

Alright, I'm just going to stop apolgizing for being late, otherwise that's about all I say and it hasn't seemed to change anything... *sigh* (bug me if you want, it could make a difference.) I WILL have a new page up by this Wednesday for sure! Anywaaaays! Geoff created an AMAZING fan art of Kai and his character, White Spider, facing off! It's awesome!! Check it out in fan art!

Sorry the new page is so late... I've been multi-tasking like crazy! I got a job at a web design company, I'm trying to prepare a portfolio, I'm finishing the pictures for the website and I'm hosting an Anime event this weekend! Still, I feel like I'm moving forward! The next few pages will probably be easier to draw anyways, so they shouldn't take as long (who knows if they will...) To make up for the lateness, I've coloured in a picture I started drawing for the site's new design. Lo-and-behold, when I held the picture away from me, it looked like the bug eyed freak bend on making the world as bug eyed as it's self! :P But I really did like the eyes I had drawn on Kai, so I just couldn't force myself to erase and start over. I imagine that's something sort of like what Kai would look like as a young child (or alien, whatever floats your boat) if he had ever been one. You can look about the creepiness in all it's glory in the gallery.
