| Ever wonder what the difference was between a Player's Challenge "Camaro" and a Player's Challenge "Trans Am"? Well here is a comparison of the options codes between two such cars. Both cars are 1988 production cars, purpose build for the Player's Challenge series. The Trans Am was soldt and raced in the eastern series. The Camaro was sold in the west, but did not end up racing and ended up in private hands earlier than most Player's cars. |

| About the only rear differences is in the trim levels. The Trans Am has a higher trim level, judging by the bucket seats and interior trim options. But apart from that, they are mechanical identical. One has to thing that the Trans Am would have more weight, but consider that the Trans Ams cross laced wheels where much lighter than the Camaro's cast aluminum wheels. In total, it might have amounted to 20-30 lbs. |
