5. The Teen Wizards
6. MoNoSTEReo
7. Afradio, Pt. One & Pt. Two
8. Ordinary Gurl
9. Disappear
10. The Girl Who Wouldn't Die
Lyrics

Info:
The first full-length release from TSAR.

The front cover image is a painting by Scott Seeto though though most of the conceptual drawings and rough sketches were
drawn by Dan Beltran.
Critically acclaimed (and amazing) comic book artist Alex Ross (known for his "Marvels" and "Kingdom Come" comics series)
was originally in the running to do the painting but was unable to.
The cover contains many concepts and images chosen by Jeff Whalen and features things like suited men milling about on a
city street with one man attempting to restrain a little girl who is pointing to the "TSAR symbol" (which appeared for a time on
Steve Coulter's bass drum head) shining in the clouds above.
The clock tower in the background reads 7:04 some have speculated this to have a sinister meaning. Ie: 7:04 = 6:64--almost 6:66.
The moment before the apocalypse? The inclusion of a horned goat lurking behind the men only adds to the occultish overtones.

CD -The inner booklet is 3 panel, in full color. One side forms the bands logo when half closed. the interior is a blurry live shot of the band featuring a jumping Jeff Whalen rocking the ubiquitous American Flag cape.

Cassette -The cassette is of special interest to me because it shows what the track list would have been were a vinyl version of the ablum released. The split between side one and side two is as follows:
Side One
1. Calling All Destroyers
2. I Don't Wanna Break-Up
3. Silver Shifter
4. Kathy Fong Is the Bomb
5. The Teen Wizards

Side Two
6. MoNoSTEReo
7. Afradio, Pt. One & Pt. Two
8. Ordinary Gurl
9. Disappear
10. The Girl Who Wouldn't Die

The inner J-card is a 3 fold, in full color. The cover (seen right) bears the same art as the CD with a black band at the bottom featuring the band's name and the Cassette catalog number. The interior on the fromt side bears the same photo of the group from the back of the CD booklet (Whalen with his foot up)-- same size as the CD but slightly trimmed.
Back side of the Jay-card is all blue-- like the interior of the CD booklet-- but no TSAR logo is shown, only the band liine up credit and the recording info--same as what's shown on the interior back cover fo the CD, visible through the clear CD tray.

Lyrics

Info:
Differences between the US and Eropean versions of the first record?
Besides being titled "Calling All Destroyers", the disc itself being pink instead of black and the front cover artwork is totally different.
Instead of the mystic painting we get a full band photo.
Other aspects of the artwork- The interior booklet folds, the rear tray etc- differ only in that they feature the "edel records" logo here
and there instead of the Hollywood logo.

The inclusion of incredible inter-stellar ballad "Suicide" makes this a must-have since it is the only place the song was made available.

Track 10 (featuring "Suicide") is broken down as follows:

0:00 - 5:32 - The Girl Who Wouldn't Die
5:32 - 7:32 - silence
7:32 - 11:26 - Suicide

2.Larger Than Life (3:03)
3.Silver Shifter (remix) (3:12)
4.You and Jim Will Hit It Off (2:57)
5.Songwriter! (Live Version)
6.Afradio pt Two pt Three pt Four (demo) (1:53)
7.Smart Boys (demo) (4:27)
Lyrics

Info:
Released as a radio only promo meant to serve as stop-gap "momentum maintainer" between the release of the self titled
debut and a follow-up full length album.

Track 3 is a remix of "Silver Shifter" mixed by Jack Joseph Puig (the album version was mixed by Chris Lord-Alge) and
is significantly different. Most notably Whalen's voice is tinged with an airy delay and reverb which helps give the track a very
light and loose feel. The vocal on the album version seems to have a tight phase on the voice and seems more "up-front" in the
mix making it have a slightly more aggressive vibe.
An otherwise unavailable track--"You And Jim Will Hit It Off" (This song was also performed by Jeff Whalen's project
"Royal Supremes")
--was also mixed by Jack Joseph Puig.
The EP contains a cover of the Backstreet Boys "Larger Than Life" as well as a different, instrumental, version of "Afraido"
(hence the "pt. 3 & 4" title...)
The track "Smart Boys" was re-recorded during the "Band-Girls-Money" sessions in 2003 (Session 3) but was not included
on the final release.

Catalog # - TV-2701-2P

Format:
CD

Track List:
1."Band-Girls-Money" (radio version) (2:54)
2. Call out hook (0:19)
Lyrics

Info:
Promo only 2-trackCD Single.

No Front cover . Regular plastic jewel case.

This version of 'B-G-M" sounds to be mastered slightly differently, and comes from the same mix session as the batch of songs
on the 4-song US pre-release promo.

The lead guitar has reverb on it and the overall master seems to have less gain and is hence, less "in your face" than the album version.
The "call out hook" is just approximately 30 seconds of "Band-Girls-Money". It's purpose being that radio DJs could talk about the
album's release or an upcoming performance by the group over top of the music.

Was handed out by the band at live shows during the spring of 2005.
