Inu Yasha. Another lengthy creation of Rumiko Takahashi (Ranma, Maison Ikkoku, Urusei Yatsura) that
was an anime (2001-2004). And now it will be an anime again (Fall 2009 start)!

Stats: Anime will air on Saturdays on YTV (Yomiuri). Started Oct 3, 2009.
Anime will cover volumes 36-56 of the manga. Staff and cast are the same as the first series!
Production: Sunrise and Yomiuri TV

ANN entry for Inu Yasha Kanketsu (Final Act) lists 26 episodes. I hope that isn't it.
Would think it would be 52 episodes at least. >.<

VIZ has it licenced and is simulcasting (subbed) the series on their Shonen Sunday page.
BUT unless you are in the USA, can't watch it :(
