INFRARED SAUNA

What is it?

It is a sauna that heats its occupants with infrared heaters that emit infrared radiant heat. Unlike traditional saunas that use steam to heat the air, this radiant heat is used directly to heat the user (it is the same as the heat from the sun only with out the harmful UV rays).

What does Infrared mean?

IR radiation is electromagnetic radiation of a wavelength longer then that of visible light, but shorter than radio waves. The radiation hits the surface of the body and heats through a process called conversion, instead of heating the air around you. The sauna box creates the atmosphere while the heaters provide the IR therapy.
