Test Pictures
All test photographs were taken using
Kodak Gold 100 print film and a mylar solar filter.
350 mm test
700 mm test
1050 mm test
2100 mm test
f/5.6, 1/250 sec.
f/11, 1/60 sec.
f/17, 1/30 sec.
f/34, 1/8 sec.


These test photographs were taken in Vancouver, on Feb. 15, 1998; a partly cloudy, hazy day. The later pictures were low in the sky and show some lines due to interfering branches from nearby high trees. This film recorded sunspot images at all magnifications; particularly at 700 mm and higher.
