I don't care who you are - you do not walk into the bathroom to be condescending and smug when a guy's using the toilet. You're asking for that bow tie to be shoved down your throat. You're supposed to knock on the door and say, "Doug, if you need anyone, I'll be out here, okay?" Especially when, as this panel implies, Mr. Smug is responsible for making the guy throw up. More disturbing is the implication that Mr. Smug's father used to walk into the bathroom on him. More disturbing still is the possibility that more time was spent drawing that shower curtain than the rest of the panel.
