2006 International Womens Cup

What's one of the biggest pro event payouts in 2006? Why it's the International Womens Cup. With a hefty $500 Ace Pot sponsored by Oilsands Safety Solutions Inc. and $3000 of added cash prizes to date. But hey if seeing pro golfers win big money doesn't interest you then maybe you should consider that this may well be the largest gathering of Pro Ladies in Canada!

The event will be held at Rose Hill Park, Kamloops BC May 27th through 28. The tournament is open to all divisions and will feature a Women's Clinic held by Two-time Womens World Champ Des Reading! (May 24th, 25th 6-8 PM). There is going to be a Pro/AM Doubles Pre-Tournament. And fellahs, don't feel left out because the Rage in the Sage 27 hole tournament will be open on Saturday May 27th for all spouses/partners who attend. And don't forget about the wild Players Party, Flymart and just great old time out in Kamloops. Also, if you're looking for a place to grab a bite or hang out the Grasshopper Bar & Grill has generously provided the players party place. It's a traditional English-style pub that caters to your thirst for the finest of ales and for the paultry sum of $20 chow down on some Surf n' Turf with juicy steak and crisp lobster.

Events held at the Players Party will include a Caddy Draw (win the chance to caddy for one of the Pro Disc ladies), a Mini-Putt Contest and the Rage Awards (events to be held on Satruday May 27th). The Kamloops Disc Golf Association reccomends that if you plan on attending to please register early and notes that you do not have to pay when you register online (you can drop a cheque in the mail). Of course, you could always check out the site yourself as it is updated on a frequent basis posting updates about the event as they become available.
