Mary
Georgina [Trynor] Weeks was
born August 30, 1933 in St. George, CH CO. NB. After she took her nurse’s
training, she married Ross Weeks [UEL #MC 8658-99 Mehl]. on May 21, 1956 in
Halifax , NS. They had three daughters Karen Nadine [1958] [Kusins], Shelly
Edwina [1959] [Johnson] MC # 8828-00 and Maryann Jean Louise [1965] [Martin].
They lived in many areas of Canada while Ross pursed his mining career. Mary
died June 19 1997 in Kelowna, B.C. Her ashes taken back to Ships Harbour NS by
her husband. Mary was very interested in her background, especially her UEL.
Ross became interested in his UEL roots, through Mary.
A
grand daughter Jessica Johnson also has her UEL #MC 8829-00
Unfortunately
Mary died before she was able to get her UEL verified. However one line she
was researching was her CRAIG line.

Craig born 1749in Scotland,
died 1836 married Mary [Molly] Steele [born in Scotland] in Castine ME.
He
was a member of the disbanded 74th Reg. At St Andrews NS/NB on 24
May 1784. Land grant given Mar 26, 1790.
Their
oldest child of 8 children, daughter Jannet
Craig born 24 Dec .1779 in Castine, ME Her death date is unknown. She was
married to Dougald Carmichael about 1799
They
had 9 children including daughter Elizabeth
Carmichael born. Jan 1, 1818 death date unknown; she married Thomas Walter
Armstrong born Nov 11, 1812, NB, he died 29 Aug 1839 in NB.
They
had 4 children including son David
Shier Armstrong born June 10, 1840 in Elmsville, NB, died April 3, 1928 in
Moores Mills, NB: he married in Char Co. NB. to Mary Adelia Woodcock who was
born May 25, 1840 in NB, she died June 17 1927 in NB.
