We have about 30 members and welcome anyone who is interested in preserving Canada’s history.
Having UEL ancestry is not necessary!
Our membership is $50 a year [Jan-Dec], this includes national as well our branch!
Our members are from the Thompson-Okanagan, from Kamloops to the border, as well as one in Ottawa and at the coast!
We meet four times a year, usually the 3rd Saturday of Apr., June Sept. and Oct.As well we have several social gatherings in the summer.
The UEL library is at my house in Kelowna and as the librarian/genealogist I am most willing to help prospective members.
I am also available online. Make an appointment! I usually have a copy of our database of surnames, in my briefcase, of our members, past and present. Ask me, maybe we can make a connection for you!
