Went to Olds last Wed (September 30, 1998) to follow up on Green Cone at the Olds College.

is the student taking on the green cone as a project.

They had installed the green cone at the south east corner of a shed on the composting technology site.  This location was good for exposure to sun but the underlying soil was high in clay and the water table was high.
As a result the bottom of the basket had about 3 inches of water in it.
They will be installing it in a rased bed and continue.

He will be monitoring the material going into the greencone.  He is collecting food waiste from three homes to simulate a family of 6 persons for the duration of the project.  He will also monitor up to 8 paramiters on a weekly, montly and 6 month.
