Canada is widely recognized as one of the richest resource based countries in the world. Estimates on the value of our gas and oil, hydro, water, forestry, agriculture, etc. have been placed in the thousands of trillions of dollars! (royal Bank Report 1987) Why is it that we are so rich yet we are drowning in a sea of personal, corporate and public bankruptcies and increasing debt? Why do we see, hear and read about, virtually  on a daily basis,  the problems  with our health  care, our education, our economy, the increasing number of homeless and a myriad of other concerns?

  Of course, we look for someone or something to blame for our demise. We blame government or big business or the unions or the economy as the cause of our problems. The truth is we are all to blame.  The truth is that the problems we face as a society and as individuals originate from a completely unnoticed and unchallenged source which most of us  have failed to recognize because we either simply do not want to know because  we are so caught up in trying to maintain our own personal and family lives and/or because of the  nonsense which is intentionally taught in our education system by the "experts" in order to keep the masses dummied down and ignorant of what is really going on. We need to look at the source of the problem and not the symptoms of the problem

  The real problem is relatively simple. The banks which operate in this country and worldwide have the power to "create" money. They achieved this power through devious and questionable  means. The banks can  create non-existent money known as credit, virtually out of thin air. There is no cost to the banks to "create" money/credit but the moment this "credit" is brought into being, they charge us interest for it. Under this system, they control almost every aspect of our lives. But, incredibly, it goes beyond the simple creation of money out of nothing. It is bad enough that we give them this money creating authority but, when they do create money out of thin air, more money must always be paid back. Why? Because interest must be paid over and above the amount that was originally created (the principal).  But the banks never create the money to pay the interest therefore, more money must always be paid back than was originally borrowed, thus draining the wealth out of the very people who create it.

  Under this absurd system, the real wealth of the world has been confiscated by those who do not create real wealth, from the wealth creators, you, and transferred to the bankers. So, for hundreds of years, the bankers have accumulated untold wealth while  gaining power and control over every person, business and government. Today, it is no longer about the money, it is their lust for control of the masses which drives them on. They have used this great wealth and power to buy and control the global oil companies, the media, transportation, the food industry, the pharmaceutical industry and they even buy off our elected politicians through the financial control exerted my the wealthy elite over the federal and provincial political parties in this country. Here is a direct quote from an edition of the American bankers Association magazine in 1924 which clearly illustrates their true intent;

" Capital must be protected in every possible way. Debts must be collected, mortgages foreclosed as rapidly as possible. When through the process of law, the common people lose their homes, they will become more docile and more easily governed through the strong arm of Government applied by a central power of wealth under leading financiers. These truths are well known among our principal men who are now engaged in forming an imperialism to govern the world. By dividing the voter through the political party system, we can get them to expend their energies in fighting for questions of no importance. It is thus by discreet action we can secure for ourselves that which has been so well planned and so successfully accomplished."

 In Canada, for example,  our Canadian newspapers (and what they publish) is under the ownership and control of only a few wealthy and influential individuals. Some of these people  have such immense power that they can literally shape public opinion in order to achieve a desired affect, such as causing a global financial calamity, whenever they wish. So how does this affect us as Canadians?

     For  the past 88 years, under this debt money system, our country and its people have suffered through recessions, depressions, wars, record personal and corporate bankruptcies, family breakups,  unemployment, growing environmental concerns, increasing taxation, less and less government programs and services,  and increasing personal, corporate  and public debt. Food banks are a growth industry, homelessness is more prevalent and our children are ill-prepared (intentionally) by our education system to survive in an uncertain  world. Most young adults cannot even reconcile  a bank account. All of these happenings are a direct result of the debt money system we are under and the few people who control it, So, where does it all end?

  Unfortunately, it is only getting worse and will continue to get  worse unless we, the people  start to wake up! We must address this fundamental problem now! Each and everyone of us has a part to play in the future prosperity and well being of our families, communities and our country. We must all take an active role, however small that role may be.  There is an old saying, "The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." A simple  example would be electing an independent who will stand and expose this problem for what it is and strive for real change for the betterment of the people and the country or simply make others around you aware of the problem. Imagine a world where there is no public debt, where everyone can own their own home, where families can afford to be together more often, where only one income is required to support a family while the other spouse can raise  their children to be good citizens with strong moral and spiritual values and respect the rights and property of others. We can have an education system that prepares our children for the real world, an education system that is free and a health system (also free) which focuses on health and wellness instead of sickness and disease. There are so many other positive results if one takes the time to think about it.

  This site is just one small step in helping concerned citizens  to understand how our present monetary and banking system operate.... How it does not function to the benefit of all Canadians but functions for the benefit of  just a small handful of individuals who lust for power and control over the rest of us.

  When we speak of the bankers throughout this site, we are referring to the individuals at the top, the ones who are in control and make the real decisions. The majority of the people who work in the banking industry are as unaware as the rest of us about how the present banking and monetary system confiscates the fruits of our labour and drives us all deeper and deeper into debt....debt  which CAN NEVER BE PAID BACK! under this system.
