was first released in Canada in a Brown Bag identifying the band as Tom,
Dick, Harry and Sam as song writers. That would correspond to Duncan, Eric,
Stuart and Alan. Since Derek did not partake in writing he was not given
an alias. Part of the reason this was released this way was to show radio
stations, record executives and the listening public what the Rollers were
capable of musically without the old bubblegum stigma attached to them.
A card was attached to the front of the brown bag. THis card could be mailed
in. When the album was rereleased in Canada the internal sleeve had the
names of all those who sent in the card. The songs Doors, Bars and Metal
and Lay Your Love on the Line previously appeared on The Soundtrack From
Burning Rubber. These versions are different. |
