EDUCATION
-Develops an education plan to ensure
that members are able to achieve their educational goals
-Signs members' manuals as speeches
are completed
-Organizes special educational events
-Sets up & monitors the mentor
program for new members
-Maintains member progress charts
& posts same at all club meetings
-Promotes TI events beyond the Club
level
-Votes on behalf of the Club at Area,
Division, District, Regional, & International
-Member of Club Executive Committee
-Orient new members to TM Program
-Plans Club meetings
-Arrange for Speechcraft
& Success Leadership Programs
-Administer Speech Contests
-Preside in the absence of President
-Promotes TI Program to members

MEMBERSHIP
-Plans, organizes
& implements a marketing plan to ensure continuous intake of new members
-Conducts formal induction ceremonies
for new members
-Liaises with other club officers to
ensure the Club continues to meet the needs of existing members & to ensure
member retention
-Signs up new members &, with
Secretary & Treasurer, ensures applications are sent promptly to TI
-Orders Club nametags for new members
-Provides recognition for members who
sponsor new members into the Club
-Maintains critical records: Membership List, Member Attendance, Guest
book
-Votes on behalf of the Club at Area
& Division
-Member of Club Executive Committee
-Prepares semi-annual membership

VICE PRESIDENT
PUBLIC RELATIONS
-Develops, implements & manages a
publicity plan for the Club
-Submits Press Releases to local
papers on Club & individual accomplishments & special events
-Develops handouts for guests &
new members to tell them about TI & about the Club
-Produces the Club Bulletin
-Member of the Executive Committee
SECRETARY
-Responsible for all Club records
(e.g. Constitution, Charter certificate, etc.) & correspondence
-Prepares & submits Club &
Officer information forms & other records to TI
-Submits membership applications to TI
-Receives & reads & maintains
minutes of all Club business meetings & Executive meetings
-Member of the Executive Committee
-Circulate TIPS newsletters &
supply catalogue
TREASURER
-Responsible for development &
execution of financial policies, procedures, audits, & controls
-Prepares annual budget
-Provides regular reports on budget
status
-Notifies members of dues payable,
collects, & deposits dues, prepares cheques for dues payment to TI
-Maintains records of all financial
transactions & ensures prompt payment of bills
-Member of the Executive Committee
-Change signing authority at Bank
SERGEANT AT ARMS
-Custodian of all club equipment &
supplies
-Sets up the meeting room before
meetings & clears up after words
-Sets up specific material &
equipment needed by speakers
-Greets guests & has them sign in,
prepares nametags for them, ensures guests are introduced to a member
-Collects & tallies ballots
-Chairs Social & Reception
