My musical career started young taking piano lessons and I didn’t find the drums until grade five after trying four different instruments (trumpet, sax, trombone and tuba) My buddy was the goofball in class and he played snare so I changed to the drums to hang out with him and goof off. From there I went on to play in school bands throughout highschool. My first actual rock band was the BUNDYS (out of Winnipeg) then when I came back to Saskatoon I joined James and created HUGE. We broke up in 2000 and Cam and I lived two blocks away from each other so we started talking and a jam session was had... the Furleys were born!

Anything and everything. I went thourgh all my old CDs and started listening to them again. I still am impressed and moved by the band “LIVE”, but my musical tastes range from BlackEyed Peas to Metallica to Portishead. Very diverse. It all depends on my mood, although lately showtunes from Disney cartoons are whats in my head.

What influences me? Musically it’s the ego boost. I love playing and the more people in front of us the better I play. I get inspired by good lyrics (James’ writing impresses me). People influence me whether its friends or people I meet. I am influenced by God and Jesus Christ. I am blessed to have been given so much talent and ability and I want to use it to make others happy or inspire them.

The maturity with a hint of stupidity. This band is well organized, mature, business like and focused BUT we still have a ton of laughs, like to let loose and most of all we like to bug the heck out of each other, especially Cam about his age.

Me. I hate plugging meters. City of Saskatoon has enough of my loonies already.
