Flames win in Shootout; Grey Cup in HD
November 22- One month 'till my birthday. I hope you all got your gifts for me. Just Kidding.
So the Flames went back on their winning ways...kinda. After going up 2-0 inthe 1st, Colorado scored 2 to tie the game. Not bad to get at least 1 point away from the Dome. But they won in the shootout, so they get that extra point, and move into a tie again with Vancouver. They are playing some great hockey. They really haven't lost anything from the 03/04 season, except for a few players.
And the Grey Cup...the Red Headed Step-Child equivalent to the Super Bowl will be on CHC-HD this Sunday. As usual, I will check it out, but will pay no attention to it. It's not that high up on my priority list. Actually, what I wll be watching for will be the HD coverage from CBC. Shaw has stepped up their HD delivery over the past 4 months, and CBC was a big addition just before the Western Final. The West Final was not the best broadcast, however, it was nice to see that there is some Canadian content available in HD.
Thats it for now. Thanks for reading this if you do.  -thefatguy

Lowering Blood Alcohol Rules
November 18- Time to update this badboy. Summer is over, thats a bummer. TV is on Sweeps which is always a good time. News from HD land, TSN and CBC are here, so hockey is kinda fun to watch. I want the WB, and Discovery when it premieres . HD makes everything fun, even PBS!
I'm in school...still..., and its a blast so far. I've actually met more people this year that I have in like the last 4. I'm tired of it, but the people are making it fun. Final year, then it's the big B.Kin for me! If anyone out there needs someone with a degree for a job, especially one with a history minor, let me know. I can be your guy in April!
If you are reading this, and have linked from the DHC page, click here to let me know. If you are reading this from school or somewhere else, and don't know what DHC is, click here to let me know.
I guess I need to gove some sort of opinion, rather than just spew crap about myself.
Whats with the government wanting to lower the BAC for legal impairment?
Why don't they just force law enforcement to enforce...the laws...currently on the books. We need more checkstops and greater punishment for DUI, rather than lowering the BAC to 0.05. It's a joke if you ask me, and has been suggested, more of an election ploy than a real solution to a problem.

That's it for now. Thanks for reading, and telling me where how you found me. And as always, the DVD page is updated frequently. -thefatguy

March 22- WOW! I bet no one reads this, but whatever. I think it's time for a mini-update. As noted above, the DVD page is updated regularly. It now includes my Top 10 Current DVD's, located on the right hand side of the page. I'll see about creating an XML/RSS update, it seems to be all the rage. I have alot of opinions, but I'll see if anyone actually wants to read them.
Baseball is winding up, and school is winding down, gotta love that. Movies are good good, Sin City looks very good...I may have to shell out to actually see it. Who knows??? Thats it for now. Thanks for reading, if you actually do or not. -thefatguy
