I just wanted to add an update to the story of the mamma of the dumped puppies. She is doing great and we love her. Our daughter named her Peisha and it actually really suits her. She is the sweetest dog you can imagine, wants to please and play and goof around. The rescuers got 30 pounds on her before she came to our home. The vet said that she is almost at a good weight and she is in great shape, especially considering what she had been through. She is full of life!! She wants attention and love and wants to play and go for walks. She still eats and drinks quite a bit, and was spayed today. (Whatever money is collected can stay with the kennel and rescuers, as I told them that when I took her. The food they had her and her older pups was very very expensive). She gets along fine with our dog, though our dog is not really too sure about this full of life 'puppy'. but its all good..... Thanks, Liz
