I have had multiple cats in my household for almost 15 years, but found my little group slowly passing on till I only had one left, a lonely female of 8. I did not want to get a kitten as I felt it would have been too hard on Tiny (my cat) to adjust, so I decided to adopt an older cat and Oreo just captured my heart. It only took about 20 minutes after Oreo arrived at my home to start looking around and meeting his new human friends and has not looked back since. He loves to sit on my chair beside me when I am knitting or sewing, he likes to tap everyone on the shoulder that comes to visit – he figures everyone is there to visit him and wants his attention – if you have a free hand it is meant to be petting him. Tiny took a week to accept him but now enjoys his company. The dogs even get along very well with him. He is a wonderful addition to my household.
