Memorials

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to the Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

had found a loving home but sadly passed away. He was diabetic. Link for Photos

December 2011 - Ali Pettnuzzo has generously donated $140.00 for the neuter of Pepper and Mystery
in Memory of Tubby. Rest in Peace Tubby.

November 23 , 2011 - Sadly, Missy fought for her life with determination but did not make it.
She joins her friends across the Rainbow Bridge.

November 22 , 2011 - Sadly, Kitt was lost all control of bodily functions, and after being checked by the vet,
it was advised that we help him to the Rainbow Bridge.

October 8 , 2011 - Sadly, Samson the kitten failed to thrive and sadly passed away. RIP little Samson

August 2011 - Sadly our recently adopted Cuddles passed away. She will be sadly missed by her sister Patches and all her other furry friends, as well as the TAAG volunteers who have come to know her.

April 2011 - Thanks for the little time that I got to be your friend, but I understand your angel was calling. You will be missed by me and other feline friends, with your growling demands but loving purrs, but I will not and shall not worry or feel sad about you.

WHY, you asked…..

Because, I know that when you reach your destination,
and look around, you will see, and understand me.
For so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart
is your mom/companion/friend Christa Dilanzo.
You both will be so happy to see each other.
I know you will have happy meows and purrs as
she will have open arms to smother you with.

November 2010 - Toony is one of Lilo's kittens. This poor little kitten fought and fought for two months and sadly, did not survive as the upper respiratory virus common to many kittens took hold and Toony never recuperated although various medications were tried. In the end Toony was just eating and drinking to survive and never grew or thrived. The virus got into the nervous system, causing an inability to walk without the hind end giving out. Toony was sadly euthanized, as that was the only humane thing to do. We say goodbye.

August 2010 - Jake was a beautiful long haired cat who was treasured by his previous owners. Due to unfortunate circumstances, they gave him up to TAAG. He was ailing, the medications were not working. He became too sick to survive. RIP Jake.

July 2010 - A message from Cheryl: It saddens me to no end that I have to add poor Thumbalina to our memorial page - she is a true angel. She was with me for the last two and a half weeks struggling to get better. Read her story by clicking here. Just when I thought there was a big turn around she turned for the worst and I had to bring her across to the vet and have her put down to her final resting place. What comes around goes around and may the people that did this to her have their turn.
