Hi, congratulations on a fantastic project so far. I have just ordered the plans from SF and want to build the 20' version. Can you let me know how much further you have got past the stages in your web site. I am really interested to see how well she will go. Thanks, much appreciated.

Hi, I'm Shaun Squyres and the one who commissioned the 20' version of the rufus. I am nearing completion after several long delays. Including a 1 year delay for a different business project. I will provide Paul Fisher with photos for the SF web sight. It looks as your project is going well. Please feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions. shaunsquyres@cox.net Thanks,

Hello Oliver! I really like your boat. Maybe the Rufus 17 is what I have been looking for. I have just ordered the study plan. Good luck on completing the topside.

Looks good so far. On the 18 ft simmons skiff I built I left the anker well open , just put a rim around and made it drain over board through side of hull. seems to work ok and the ankor is easy toget at Peter Page. Australia

It's great to see some photos of the Rufus being built, it has just finally confirmed for me that it is definitely the right boat for me. I intend to build one starting in April next year (got to go and work for a few months first to raise the money.)

Have you had any particular problems during construction, or has it been a straight forward build?

Have you made much progress beyond what is shown on the web site.

How much plywood have you used so far (I guess most of the structure is there now).

Regards

First - concratulations on the web-site very innovative!! I am looking at various plans for a boat I could use as a fishing boat. (See previous topic on members file Jarvis V Power 2.) What size engine are you (going to use), using? What is fuel consumption at cruising speed? What is cruising speed? How does she handle in a chop? How much headroom have you got? How long to build (approx)? Is this your first project? Any current pics?? Any further info??? Looking forward to hearing from you.
