A brief comment on a Compassionate God
The processes of nature are extremely cruel, brutal, painful, and torture-filled.
The results of nature are beautiful, awesome, seemingly miraculous, and inspiring.
A compassionate, all-mighty God would have been able to accomplish these results without resorting to horrible natural processes.
Why not?
As people we can choose not to follow the natural (God?) given processes to accomplish beauty, compassion, inspiration.
